Baby push walkers are definitely effective devices
in helping young children learn how to get around all by themselves.
But if you plan on letting your children use these, there are
safety precautions that need to be taken as well. You should be
especially careful:
• Around stairs – When children
use baby push walkers, they may not be able to see what is ahead
of them very well; this includes stairs. Make sure that gates
are firm and in place to avoid a child falling down the stairs.
• Near corners – The baby push walkers
that are made without bumpers could see the child fall backwards.
Be careful as your children walk near corners to make sure they
do not fall back into them.
Taking these precautions with baby push walkers can keep your
baby safe.
